| Reverse description | The reverse is centered on a large Tau cross, the symbol closely associated with Saint Francis of Assisi, rendered in bold relief. Flanking the Tau are stylized artistic representations of the four fundamental elements celebrated in the Canticle of the Creatures: Brother Wind, Sister Water, Lord Fire, and Mother Earth. Excerpts from the Canticle of the Creatures, written in the original medieval Umbrian Italian vernacular, are inscribed along both sides of the design field. The denomination 0,75 EURO appears in the lower portion of the reverse, with the letter T also present in the field. |
