| Obverse description | The obverse presents a central vignette of three zoo animals from Faunia in Madrid — a ring-tailed lemur in the foreground, an emperor penguin to its left, and a toucan to the right — rendered in a mixed intaglio and colour-print style against a lilac guilloche underprint. At upper left, the issuer's name "FAUNIA" appears in purple lettering above a stylised EU flag carrying the "EURO SOUVENIR" circular legend and the series date "2019-1", with a large intaglio "0" denomination numeral to its right. The lower right corner bears the facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., alongside the serial prefix "VEAP" and the "EURO SOUVENIR" logo block in blue, purple and orange. |
