The Museum of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw has issued a series of commemorative 0 Euro notes honoring Polish sporting figures — this one marking Henryk Kasperczak, who coached the Polish national football team during two separate stints and later built a substantial career managing African national sides, including Senegal, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, and Mali. The 0 Euro format, widely used across Europe since around 2015 as a collector souvenir, carries legal Euro denomination status but no redemption value — a technicality that allows Oberthur Fiduciaire to produce them on genuine banknote stock with full security features while keeping them outside any monetary framework.

Cotton substrate and Oberthur's involvement give these notes a more serious physical presence than most sports memorabilia.
