| Reverse description | The reverse carries vignettes of six iconic European landmarks — Brandenburg Gate, Belém Tower, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sagrada Família, and Manneken-Pis — arranged across a fine guilloche underprint in muted tones. A reproduction of the Mona Lisa appears at right. The "EUROSOUVENIR" logotype and "0 EURO" denomination are printed at lower right, with printer's imprint at bottom. |

EuroSouvenir notes are legal tender in the technical sense — the European Central Bank tolerates them as collector items with a face value of zero, meaning they satisfy no debt and circulate nowhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine euro security standards regardless, with the same substrate and intaglio work used on actual currency. Hrad Šariš, a ruined 13th-century fortress above Veľký Šariš in northeastern Slovakia, was largely abandoned after a fire in 1660 and never rebuilt.
