The zero-euro souvenir note program, administered by the Paris-based company Euro Banknote Memory, began in 2015 and has since produced hundreds of collector pieces for French tourist sites. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine banknote security standards — including intaglio printing, watermarks, and a eurozone-compatible serial number — which is precisely what makes them attractive to collectors and legally unproblematic as non-currency. The Concorde subject connects directly to Le Bourget's most famous permanent exhibit: the Air France F-BVFD airframe, one of the few surviving production aircraft.
