| Obverse description | Central vignette presents a detailed intaglio-style view of Peleș Castle in Sinaia, rendered in deep burgundy tones against a light guilloche underprint, with the castle's distinctive Neo-Renaissance towers and wooded surroundings occupying the right half of the note. To the left, a large intaglio zero numeral is set against a ring of twelve gold stars, with the European Union flag vignette and the series date 2025-1 in the upper left corner. The lower right area carries a serial number prefixed ROAU, accompanied by a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., and the multicolored EURO SOUVENIR logotype at lower center-left. |

Euro Souvenir notes are a collector-oriented program launched in France in 2015, sold at tourist sites across Europe as legal-format (but non-legal-tender) mementos. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints the entire series under license, applying genuine security features — including eurion constellations and UV-reactive inks — to notes that carry face value of zero. The program has issued hundreds of distinct designs, with new subjects added each year.
Peleș Castle in Sinaia was completed in 1883 as a summer residence for Carol I, and this 2025 issue marks its inclusion in a program that has steadily expanded into Central and Eastern European sites.
