The Camp Nou souvenir note occupies an odd corner of the EuroSouvenir programme — issued against the backdrop of the stadium's ongoing €1.5 billion Espai Barça renovation project, which began demolishing the original upper tiers in 2023. Oberthur Fiduciaire produces the entire EuroSouvenir series under a framework established with the European Central Bank, which permits the zero-denomination format precisely because it carries no monetary value and therefore sidesteps legal tender regulations entirely.
The Spotify naming rights deal, signed in 2022, gives this note a built-in expiry problem: corporate stadium names change, and the contract runs only through 2026 — the same end date printed here.
