Euro Souvenir notes occupy a peculiar corner of the collector market — legally issued under UEAN/UEAE authorization, face-valid at zero euros, and produced to the same Oberthur security specifications as genuine circulating notes. The Tour Montparnasse issue arrived in 2024, the same year the tower's long-contested demolition debate resurfaced in Paris municipal politics, lending the timing a mild irony given that souvenir notes for demolished landmarks are a known subset of the series.
