Eurosouvenirs is a Swiss-based novelty issuer producing zero-denomination "fantasy" notes sold as tourist keepsakes, with no monetary value or legal tender status anywhere. The Aquatis series corresponds to the Aquatis Aquarium Vivarium in Lausanne — Europe's largest freshwater aquarium — which opened in November 2016, explaining why issue began in 2017. Oberthur Fiduciaire brings genuine security printing credentials to what is essentially a souvenir: the firm prints official banknotes for numerous central banks, and that production infrastructure is visible in the quality of the paper and print registration here.
