| Obverse description | The face is printed entirely in rose-red on uncoloured paper, with an intricate ornate guilloche border enclosing the denomination title 'ADÓJEGY' at the top in bold letterpress. The central inscription 'EGYMILLIÓ ADÓPENGŐRŐL' is set in large display type above a usage restriction legend and the issue date 'BUDAPEST, 1946. ÉVI MÁJUS HÓ 25-ÉN', with a serial number and the manuscript signature of the Minister of Finance below. A warning against counterfeiting appears in a banner at the foot of the note. |
