Abdoulaye Fadiga served as Governor of the BCEAO from 1975 to 1988, which is why his signature anchors nearly the entire run of this type — his counterpart changed repeatedly as the rotating presidency of the BCEAO Council cycled through ministers from different member states. The 1989 and 1990 dates mark the arrival of Alassane Ouattara as Governor, before he left to serve as Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire in 1990 and later pursued the presidency that would consume the next three decades of his political life.

Ten signature combinations across nine years is an unusually dense progression for a single Pick type, making date-signature pairing the primary collecting variable here.
