| Obverse description | The Panamanian national arms displayed centrally in the field, comprising a quartered shield with a cornucopia, a winged wheel, crossed swords and rifle, and a stylised isthmus with two sailing ships, all supported by a cornucopia on either side and surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings. The Latin legend REPVBLICA DE PANAMA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 1982 appears in the exergue below the shield, flanked by small decorative stars. |
