Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval shield bearing a llama, a mountain with a rising sun, and a breadfruit tree, flanked on either side by upright national flags and fasces. A condor with spread wings perches atop the shield. The circumferential legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA is arranged along the left and right rims respectively, with a row of nine stars arcing along the lower border. A beaded inner border frames the entire design.
