Obverse description Draped bust of Honoré II facing right, depicted with long flowing hair and a lace collar, in the baroque portrait style typical of mid-17th century coinage. The effigy occupies the central field and is rendered with fine engraved detail. A circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading from the lower left and continuing around the periphery of the coin.

Reverse description Central cruciform device composed of four crowned gothic H monograms arranged symmetrically around a central ornament, with fleurs-de-lis filling each of the four angles between the arms of the cross. A royal crown surmounts the central cross element. The entire device is enclosed within a circular Latin legend giving the date 1650, with the inscription divided across the upper and lower periphery of the field.
