| Obverse description | Draped bust of Honoré II facing right, with long flowing hair falling to the shoulders, rendered in the Baroque portrait style typical of mid-17th century coinage. The effigy occupies the central field, with the prince shown in armoured dress. The circular legend reads HONORATUS II D G . PRINCEPS . MONOECI, interrupted by a small rosette ornament at the top of the coin. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the die, characteristic of hammered coinage of the period. |
