| Obverse description | Cast bronze round coin (yuan qian) with a central circular hole. Two archaic Chinese seal-script characters, reading 半瞏 (Ban Yuan, equivalent to half a liang), are arranged in the field flanking the central perforation — one character to the left and one to the right. The legends are rendered in relief in the angular, stylized seal script characteristic of the Warring States period Qin coinage. The flat field shows natural casting texture with areas of olive-green patination. |

| Reverse description | Plain, unadorned reverse with a flat, featureless field typical of early Qin cast coinage. The surface bears natural casting irregularities and aged bronze patination ranging from olive-green to brown, consistent with ancient burial or circulation wear. The central circular perforation is clearly defined, with no raised rims or additional markings. |
