Reverse description The Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle, depicted with horizontal shading to indicate the tinctures in the heraldic design. The shield is supported by two figures and surmounted by a crocodile crest, with the whole achievement rendered in fine engraved detail. The colony name JAMAICA appears at the top of the legend, while HALF PENNY, flanked by decorative rosette ornaments, is inscribed at the bottom. The colonial motto INDUS UTERQUE SERVIET UNI runs along the lower periphery.
