Reverse description Reverse of this irregularly struck hammered copper flan features a similar cruciform grid pattern subdividing the field into rectangular compartments. Tibetan script legends are distributed across the compartments, with boldly struck characters visible in the upper, central, and lower sections of the field. The overall design mirrors the obverse in its geometric compartmentalisation, a hallmark of Bhutanese Deb-period coinage, with the lettering rendered in a somewhat stylised and variable manner consistent with hand-engraved dies.
