| Obverse description | Central field dominated by bold Arabic calligraphic inscription in two registers, divided by a horizontal line bar. The legend, rendered in a robust Naskh-influenced hand typical of early Malwa Sultanate coinage, fills the entire flan. The script is deeply struck and raised, with individual letterforms showing the characteristic thick strokes of hammered copper issues from Shadiabad mint. The irregular flan edge reflects the hand-cut fabric common to this series. |
