| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan bearing a bold Arabic inscription in Naskh script filling the field across multiple lines, reading 'man ata'a al-sultan muhammad' (he who obeys the Sultan Muhammad). The script is deeply struck with characteristic fluid calligraphic strokes, occupying the entirety of the coin's face without a surrounding border. The irregular flan surface shows typical medieval Indian mint workmanship, with the legend set centrally and distributed across three to four lines. A green patina consistent with aged copper alloy is present across the field. |
