| Reverse description | Central device depicts the imperial emblem of Iran: a rampant lion passant facing right, brandishing an upward-curved scimitar in its right forepaw, set against a radiant rising sun whose rays fan outward behind the lion's body. Above the lion, the Pahlavi imperial crown surmounts the entire device. The central group is flanked by a wreath composed of an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right, tied at the base. Below the lion and wreath, the denomination legend in Persian nastaliq script reads 'Rub' Pahlavi' (Quarter Pahlavi). No date appears on the piece, consistent with its pattern status. |
