Mašinsko-Metalurški Kombinat "Bratstvo" in Novi Travnik was one of Yugoslavia's major defence industry enterprises — a large arms and machinery complex whose workers' council, like those at many large Yugoslav firms, issued its own internal scrip for use in factory canteens, shops, and cooperative services. These notes circulated exclusively within the kombinat's closed economic ecosystem, redeemable only through company-run outlets and of no value outside the factory gates.

The 1.50 Dinar denomination is characteristically awkward — a fractional value that points to very specific pricing in a subsidised canteen rather than general-purpose exchange.
