Obverse description A hare depicted in profile facing left occupies the central field, rendered in a stylized, low-relief manner characteristic of Burmese cast coinage of the Konbaung period. The animal is shown in a seated or crouching posture with elongated ears clearly defined above the body. A circular border of pellets or dots surrounds the central device, and faint Burmese script inscriptions appear in the lower field beneath the hare.
