| Obverse description | Two-line Persian poetic legend in bold nasta'liq script occupying the central field, enclosed within horizontal ruled lines forming a rectangular cartouche. The legend reads in praise of the Imam and the Sahib al-Zaman. A dotted border runs along the inner periphery of the irregularly shaped flan, with floral or pellet ornaments visible in the lower segment. The die-work is characteristic of Zand-period hammered coinage, with large, flowing script filling the available field. |
