Obverse description Central design features a domed mosque, identified as the Shrine of Imam Reza in Mashhad, rendered in fine detail with two flanking minarets rising above a decorative inner circle. The dome and brickwork of the shrine are meticulously engraved in the field. The Arabic legend 'بانک مرکزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران' (Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran) curves along the upper periphery, while 'بهار آزادی' (Spring of Freedom) appears in the lower field. The coin is bordered by a beaded inner ring and a reeded outer rim.
