Obverse description The Bolivian National Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval escutcheon supported by two flanking condors with spread wings, the shield charged with a llama, a breadfruit tree, and a rising sun over a mountain range. Surrounding the arms are ten cannon balls at the base and two crossed cannons and rifles at either side. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA runs along the upper periphery within a toothed border, with the word BOLIVIA continuing along the right. A single five-pointed star appears centrally at the base of the design, flanked by two dashes.
