| Reverse description | Central square hole flanked on either side by a single Manchu character, together reading 'Boo Chang' (寶昌), denoting the Chang (Nanchang) mint board treasury. The Manchu glyphs are poorly struck and weakly defined, consistent with the crudely executed nature of a privately cast piece. The flat, unornamented field exhibits the same coarse texture and blue-green patination as the obverse. |
