| Obverse description | The national Coat of Arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, featuring a shield divided into three sections and supported by two birds: a Scarlet Ibis on the dexter side and a Cocrico on the sinister side. The shield bears a representation of two vessels at sea below a chevron with a sailing ship, and is surmounted by a helm and crest comprising a ship's wheel encircled by a palm tree between two stylised waves. Below the shield, a scroll bears the national motto in Latin legend. The Franklin Mint mintmark appears at the bottom of the field. |
