| Obverse description | The reverse die of the 1946 Lincoln Wheat cent serves as the obverse of this countermarked piece, displaying the denomination ONE CENT in large relief at center, with the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM above and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA below, flanked by two wheat stalks. A bold countermark bearing the number 133 has been applied centrally across the field, attributable to the United Fruit Company for use as a plantation token in Honduras. |
