Comments

Leinenkugel's has operated continuously in Chippewa Falls since Jacob Leinenkugel founded the brewery in 1867, making it one of the oldest surviving regional breweries in the upper Midwest. Brewery-issued trade tokens and scrip of this type were used to manage tap samples and promotional pours at the source — functional internal currency, not collector bait, which is precisely why surviving examples in decent shape are uncommon.
