| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the Danish Royal Arms of three crowned passant lions accompanied by nine hearts, rendered in high relief within a recessed circular field. The date range '1996-2021' is inscribed above the shield in the inner field. A raised circular border separates the central motif from the outer legend area.
