| Reverse description | A Native American hunter is depicted in three-quarter view at right, drawing a bow toward two white-tailed deer standing in a grassy landscape at left. The scene is framed below by a semicircular ground line, with stylized geometric tribal motifs decorating the border at left and right. The legend 'CATAWBA TRIBES 2023' arcs along the upper field, while the denomination 'ONE DIME' appears in the lower exergue. |

| Additional information |
The Native American Mint is a private commercial operation, not a federally recognized tribal mint or a branch of the U.S. government — these pieces carry no legal tender status and are not issued under the authority of the Catawba Indian Nation itself. The Catawba, based in South Carolina, gained federal recognition in 1993 after a decades-long legal dispute that also resulted in a $50 million land settlement.
