Comments

Baskin-Robbins issued these paper gift certificates denominated in dollars as in-store promotional currency, redeemable against purchases rather than circulating in any conventional sense. They occupy an odd corner of notaphily — technically scrip, not banknotes — but attract collectors drawn to corporate ephemera and mid-century American retail history.

Surviving examples are genuinely uncommon; most were redeemed and discarded by the issuing stores.
