Fiji has issued commemorative silver dollars under licensing arrangements with corporate brands since the 2010s, and the Coca-Cola series is among the more commercially aggressive of these programs. These pieces are struck for the collector market and have no meaningful circulation history in Fiji or anywhere else.
KM#866 is one of several Coca-Cola-themed issues attributed to Fiji's Reserve Bank in this period, all produced under contract by private minting firms rather than any sovereign mint facility in Fiji itself.
