| Additional information |
Bayerisches Münzkontor is a German private mint and direct-marketing operation known for producing gold-plated collector pieces aimed at the gift and novelty market. This item has no connection to the United States Mint and is not legal tender anywhere. The "Liberty Head Double Eagle" designation borrows the name of the historic $20 gold series minted 1849–1907, but the association ends there.
