Obverse description The Fiji Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported by two Fijian warriors in traditional dress, one holding a spear and the other a war club. The shield displays a British lion in the chief, with quarters containing sugarcane, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a bunch of bananas. A British lion passant guardant is shown above the shield, and a scroll below bears the national motto 'Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui' in the Fijian language. The legend 'FIJI 2020' arcs along the upper rim, while '1 DOLLAR' appears in the lower legend. The weight designation '1oz' is inscribed to the left of the arms and '.999 FINE SILVER' to the right.

Reverse description A full-color photographic portrait of Severus Snape, the fictional character from the Harry Potter franchise as portrayed by actor Alan Rickman, dominates the right portion of the field, depicted in his characteristic dark robes and pointing a wand directly toward the viewer. A greyscale rendering of Hogwarts Castle appears in the background to the lower left, lending depth to the composition. The stylized 'Harry Potter' franchise logotype is inscribed in the left field in the recognizable lightning-bolt typeface. The character name 'SEVERUS SNAPE™' appears as a legend along the lower rim. The copyright notice 'TM & © WBEI. (s19)' is inscribed vertically along the left edge of the field.
