Reverse description Zoroastrian fire altar with two attendants flanking the central shaft, rendered in a debased imitative style derived from Sasanian prototype coinage of Peroz I. The altar is depicted with a stepped base and a flame finial at the top, while the attendant figures stand facing inward on either side, their forms highly stylized and schematic. Ribbons or streamers extend from the heads of the attendants in the Sasanian manner. The overall composition is flattened and provincially executed, consistent with Northern Tokharistan workshop practice. A beaded border encircles the reverse field.
