| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic occupies the central field, depicting a crowned eagle with spread wings grasping a staff, superimposed over a radiant sun and a heraldic shield bearing traditional Armenian motifs. The bilingual legend arcs across the upper portion of the coin in both Latin and Armenian scripts, reading 'NAGORNO-KARABAKH' along the outer rim, with the Armenian inscription 'ԼԵՌՆԱՅԻՆ ՂԱՐԱԲԱՂԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' and the name 'ԱՐՑԱԽ' positioned within the inner arc. The word 'REPUBLIC' appears in the lower field beneath the arms. The overall design is rendered in low relief against a flat field. |
