| Obverse description | The Czechoslovak heraldic lion rampant, bearing a shield charged with the Slovak double cross, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The lion is depicted in fine detail with a raised tail and crown, rendered in a high-relief sculptural style. In the lower central field, the inscription ESSAI appears above the date 28·X·1918, referencing the founding date of the republic. The circular legend REPUBLIKA·ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ runs along the upper periphery, with the year 1923 positioned at the base, all separated by interposed dots. |
