| Obverse description | Draped bust of Honoré II facing right, with long flowing hair, wearing armour with a lace collar, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The effigy occupies the lower two-thirds of the field, with the engraver's name or a brief inscription appearing beneath the truncation. The circular legend runs along the outer rim, separated from the field by a beaded inner border. The portrait is boldly modelled, characteristic of the medallic style of Claude Warin. |
