Reverse description The crowned quartered Royal Arms of Spain, comprising the castles of Castile and lions of León in the primary quarters with the fleurs-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the escutcheon, occupies the central field. The royal crown surmounts the shield. The circumferential Latin legend IN UTROQ FELIX encircles the upper portion of the field, while the mint mark (NR or P), assayer initials, and denomination numeral 1 are positioned flanking the lower shield. A milled border frames the entire design.
