| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of King Ferdinand VII facing right, with hair tied at the nape by a ribbon bow. The circular legend reads FERDIN VII D G HISP ET IND R, with the date appearing in the lower exergual field. The bust is rendered in a neoclassical style typical of Spanish colonial coinage of the period. |
