Reverse description The heraldic shield of the Jamaican coat of arms occupies the central field, rendered with vertical shading throughout, and charged with a cross bearing five pineapples. A crocodile passant serves as the crest above the shield, and two native figures flank the escutcheon as supporters, each holding a shield. A scroll at the base bears the motto INDUS UTERQUE SERVIET UNI. The entire armorial device is enclosed within a raised beaded inner circle, with JAMAICA arcing above and FARTHING below along the outer legend.
