| Reverse description | Central field depicts a frontal enthroned figure of Saint Lawrence (San Lorenzo), the patron saint of Antivari, shown in episcopal vestments and holding emblems of his office. The figure is rendered in a hieratic, Byzantine-influenced style consistent with contemporary Adriatic civic coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, invoking the saint's name, and a beaded border frames the composition. The irregular flan and variable strike depth are characteristic of hammered silver production of the early fifteenth century. |
