| Obverse description | Red-brown intaglio print on a light green guilloche underprint. An oval medallion at centre contains a right-facing portrait vignette of Queen Wilhelmina, framed by intricate lathe-work borders. The denomination numeral '1' appears in each corner, with the issuing authority and legal text arranged around the central vignette; three serial prefix varieties are known: single letter, two letters, and a one-digit/two-letter combination. |
