Obverse description Cast tin coin of the Chinese cash type, featuring a central square hole characteristic of the East Asian monetary tradition. Four Chinese ideograms arranged in cruciform fashion around the central aperture, reading from top to bottom and right to left, with the legend 永㒷吉大 (Yongxing Jida). The fields display the irregular, pitted surface texture typical of primitive tin casting, with a plain inner rim bordering the square perforation and an uneven outer rim reflecting the rudimentary production methods employed for this emergency coinage.
