This is a faculty scrip note — an internal token currency issued by the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy at the University of Zagreb. Croatian universities occasionally produced these small-denomination paper instruments for use within faculty canteens, bookshops, or student services, bypassing the need for change in Yugoslav dinar during periods when coin shortages or administrative convenience made internal scrip practical.
Faculty-issued scrip of this type rarely survived in quantity. Treated as disposable, most were simply discarded once redeemed.
