Obverse description A finely engraved royal peacock stands in full frontal display upon a decorative plinth, its elaborately fanned tail feathers filling the central field with intricate detail. The bird faces slightly left with its head raised, rendered in a traditional Burmese artistic style. The design is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a flat border bearing Burmese script characters ('Tazeik taw' — 'Royal stamp') arranged at intervals around the periphery. The outermost rim features a continuous reeded or beaded border. The overall composition reflects the royal peacock motif emblematic of the Konbaung dynasty.
