Obverse description Within an outer pearl border, a central square frame contains the name of King Girvan Yuddha Vikrama in Devanagari script arranged around a small trident set within an inner circle. Three repetitions of the auspicious title 'Shree' appear above the square in the field. The Saka Era date (SE 1736, corresponding to AD 1814) is inscribed below the square. The overall design reflects the traditional Nepalese tantric-royal iconographic style characteristic of the Shah dynasty coinage.
