| Obverse description | Central circular field enclosed within a decorative lotus-petal border containing Devanagari legend in multiple registers, divided by horizontal lines. The inscription naming the ruler Yoga Prakash Malla is arranged in three horizontal bands within the central medallion. Six subsidiary lobed cartouches, each bearing additional Devanagari characters, radiate outward between the lotus petals. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded outer border typical of Newar hammered coinage of the Malla period. |
